BRIGHT ROBERT

I am responsible for guiding the Company’s vision and strategy in addition to overseeing all aspects of operations. I bring over 20 years of experience successfully growing and leading companies. I joined ARHUS in August of 2013. I have had a long standing relationship with the owners, and I am grateful to join the company. I am passionate about delivering a high-quality customer experience to our clients. Leading with a client service mindset, our goal is to honor your choices through the sales process. The ARHUS team stands out from the rest of the industry, and we look forward to serving you, educating you and delivering value to you. Prior to joining ARHUS, I was Chief Operating Officer for one of the leading prepaid debit card programs in the United States in which I led private equity financings totaling $317.5 million. From 2003 to 2010, I served as Chief Financial Officer of American Physicians Service Group (NASDAQ: AMPH). This was an excellent opportunity and professional experience for me. I orchestrated the conversion of our insurance subsidiary into a stock company, including a $410 million public offering. In late 2010, I successfully completed the acquisition of AMPH to ProAssurance (NYSE:PRA) for $450 million. As a result of the collective efforts of my team, I was proud to be recognized as “Public Company CFO of Year” by the Austin Business Journal. I earned my undergraduate degree in accounting in1991 from Baylor University and then received my my MBA in 2002 from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University . I am also a CPA.

JENNIFER ROUX

Vice President of Asset Management & Administration

I have been with ARHUS since graduating from Oklahoma State University in 2003. I am very proud to have been part of this company’s history and look forward to the opportunity to continue serving our clients and our employees. I am actively involved in all aspects of the closing process and transfers of ownership. I have a full understanding of the details and documentation that are crucial in order for a smooth transaction from the preparation of legal documents and clearing title through the funding process. I have an aptitude for handling anything that comes our way with a friendly and positive attitude. I also understand that this can be a stressful process for some individuals and my goal is for our team to serve each client with the utmost respect to ensure this is a positive experience. I also oversee the management of our assets after funding, which includes ensuring we begin (and continue) receiving revenue, negotiating leases, paying property taxes and developing a long-term strategy for those assets. I have the unique privilege to not only manage our company’s assets, but to also invest in our talented group of employees. I have recently been tasked with the Human Resource function at ARHUS, where I am involved in office administration, benefits and expanding the culture of our company. I serve on the board of the Cory Monzingo Foundation, which was established to support the research for treatments and a cure for Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Trey, and our twin boys.

MICKELSON RICHARD

Vice President of Business Development

My responsibilities involve managing the front-end of our business solutions, including leading the acquisition and engineering departments. Having worked at ARHUS for over nine years, I have been instrumental in our acquisition, marketing strategy and business development efforts. I enjoy developing strategies to support the continued growth of the company while improving our direct-marketing approach and property valuation methods. My primary focus is on providing our clients with exceptional service, accurate and reliable oil and gas property valuations, and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial partnerships. Working closely with financial advisors and portfolio managers has allowed me to serve clients and help them evaluate their investment options so they can make an informed decision. Prior to working at ARHUS, I spent nine years with Fidelity Investments, and two years as a consultant in the energy and portfolio management space. I hold a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA. I bring more than 15 years of experience in the finance and investments industry, including roles in financial analysis, sales, marketing, investment strategy, and energy & commodity trading. My family has called Austin home for several years and I am the proud father of two boys. My wife and I enjoy our community and staying active with many outdoor activities, playing golf and attending the boys’ soccer games and other events. Currently, I am a member of Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Texas Land and Mineral Owners Association (TLMA), Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association (OIPA), and National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO).
